I simply didn't find the time to do this sooner.

Hi kids, what's new? We went to the Sziget Festival in Hungary, Leonie and I moved into our new place and a lot of other shit has happend as well.
Since I'm ill at the moment (I'm suffering from a violent and agressive case of the flu ;) lol) I'm not gonna write down everything that's happend and I'm not gonna post every picture I made since the last time I posted on this blog.
Today I'm gonna show you what my new place looks like! I made these pics in a hurry and I didn't have any time to clean up before taking them. Some things have changed since I took them. I might have even cleaned up a bit. ;) (The worst thing is, when I took the picture of the kitchen, they had shut off our water, so the dishes hadn't been done for a while!)
The livingroom is supposed to be rock 'n roll and the bedroom is supposed to be fantasy/gothic, because we really couldn't choose between our favorite styles.

Livingroom:

Meanwhile the bookcase is full and it collapsed under the weight of our books just now. But we fixed it.

Bedroom:

Leonie painted something on the walls. :)

Actually, the little girls room is one of my favorite rooms, because it's completely filled with pictures of cool parties and moments with our friends! Hurray for Hema!

The kitchen:

The bathroom (actually quite clean in these pictures) is in Disney style, because Leonie loves it so much (and my parents used to have something like this at home) and I told her she could have her Dinsey fun as much as she wanted in the bathroom. BUT NOT ANYWHERE ELSE!

The kitchen and the hall:

Hope you enjoyed the show, curtain's closed now. Come and visit anytime soon. :)

Floating City

I went to Monique's this weekend. Was fun! Friday Simon & Chantal came over and we had a beer, and it was relaxing. Monique read me a story before bed time! Lol.
Saturday we had a big day, at first we visited Monique's new home! She bought a fucking house, my friends (and I) are gettin' quite old and grown up eh? ;)
Any way, her new place is great! Really big! Love the garden. :)
We did a lot of shopping, Denise came over and we had dinner. After that we went to the school where Monique's working. They had a party with all the people who work there and they installed a floating mattress, a karaoke machine, and a swimming pool in the gym. Unfortunately they removed the pool, but the other stuff was still there, so Monique had the glamorous idea to have a small party over there. She invited Leonie B. and Rachel as well and we bought some beer and went over there. It was really cool actually! I did karaoke until my voice was completely fucked up (Paradise By Dashboard Light is a nasty little bugger), we rocked that floating mattress, played some truth or dare (which unfortunately is filmed by Monique), we even wrestled and of course we drank a lot of beer! I was quite drunk actually.
I was really good to do some poppers while lying on the floating mattress while some one was rocking it. Das ist Orgasmisch!
Well almost anyway.
The day after we were really lazy, watching some movie with Katie Holmes, and Dunya & Desie (I own all 3 DVDs now! ^^) . Jacky came over and I finally saw her house, it's decorated and everything, and I went home again.
Today I went to Ruysdael for a drink with Malou and Tino, and after that we had dinner with Marjolein @ Malou her "new place", she's "baby sitting" a really big house. :) After that I had to leave (but they had some really good Johnny Walker Red Label!) because Terry came over and Malou and Terry wanted to have sex (in the laundry room), and now I'm at home on the internet, and really bored. :P
Tomorrow I'm gonna go to my granny's. Been working on a project there. Wednesday Jeroen and I will go shoppin' in Amsterdam and going to the new Harry Potter movie. ^^
Thursday: Party @ Chantal's. It's gonna be fun.
Friday: Being totally lazy in The Hague, and going back to Heemskerk to be lazy as well.
Saturday: Amsterdam. Ball Du Masque. Partyyy! With Jeroen & Denise.
Sunday: Chillin' probably @ Malou's.
Monday: My baby get's on an airplane to come home to...... me!!!!!!!
But it's good to feel I don't need Leonie to do everything I want. I mean, I need her, I love her, she's my everything, but I can still party with friends, doing my own thing. It's just all those little moments in between I miss her like hell. ;)

Ps. Added some pictures to my previous post! Check 'em out!

Party all the time.

Hehe, I had some serious party time this week. On Saturday I went to Oud-Beijerland to party with Wendy and everyone was there: Els, Nicole, Cathy, Anie, Lotte. We got really drunk and went to a café and it was actually fun! We danced all night! It was really fun to see everyone and to meet Cathy's husband Jeff, who was a really cool guy.
On Sunday I went to Simon & Chantal, we went to the Summer Time festival in 'Het Haagse Bos' which is next to their place. We sat down with some beer and food and the weather was great. We made a deal to go skinny dipping on the beach and so we went to the coffee shop, picked up some pot and beer and we went to Scheveningen. When we arrived and sat down, we saw this sign on the beach saying: Nudist beach! It was an actual sign! So we really went skinny dipping after all although I had my doubts at first, but it was really cool and natural and relaxed!
It was really cool at the beach, there was some kind of lounge music and there were crickets and a beautiful sunset. We smoked pot, did some poppers, made movies on my cell phone, and we wrote a message in a bottle which we threw in the ocean!

But when all the beer and wine was gone we decided to go home and make a nice camp fire in the backyard. The only problem was: we didn't have any wood at home to start the fire with. But on our way riding bare foot on our bikes we found all this wood lying around on the side walk! Sign no. 2. Everything that day was meant to be. ;)
So we (mostly Chantal, cuz she'd been at a hippy trailerpark the week before) started a beautiful fire and we'd smoke some more pot and drank some more beer. So we enjoyed this fire while also enjoying the beautiful sounds of the night (neighbours having crazy loud sex). Crazy/Beautiful day.
The day after we had breakfast together and supported Chantal while they took some of her blood at the hospital. We did the groceries and we made dinner together. We drank a lot of beer and watched Harry Potter III. We also smoked a hell of a lot of cigarettes.
The day after Chantal and I did the groceries again and we made dinner again and then I went home. Last night I slept for like 12 hours after I talked to Leonie on the phone for a few hours. I guess I really needed some sleep, cuz I woke up at 3.15 pm.
Today I chilled. ;) Tomorrow, I'm gonna go see my granny again and maybe going to the movies later (HP5). On Friday I'm gonna go to Monique's and Chantal and Simon will be there as well, on Saturday Denise and Jacky will be there and on Wednesday I'm gonna go to Amsterdam with Jeroen, and on Thursday Chantal organised a pineapple party ;) and Saturday the 28th I'm gonna go to Ball Du Masque, and after that Leonie is back soon. :) Yay! Party all the time!

My Fidelity

I'm doing okayish, been busy painting my old room (my sis' new room) and it's turning out quite posh actually. ;) Today, well err, yesterday (it's 0.45 am) was my mum's birthday. It just gently passed by. That's a good thing I think. I just realized today is Sharon's (Within Temptation) birthday.
My sis and I have become addicted to Heroes! It's a great show, and very very addictive. Well, we're just the worst case TV series junkies, but still, it's an addictive show, I hear everyone talking 'bout it.
Wanted to post this beautiful song lyric by Heather Nova:

My Fidelity

Is it something ritual
I'm caught in, can't break the spell?
Is it moving in my body
Is it biological?
I gotta hand it to you
You've got one heart ten times divided.
Did you cut yourself in pieces
To get them all inside?

You dream about her, can't you see?
She's only shining bright
'cause she's so out of reach.
You dream about the seven seas
While I'm staying home each night,
Making love to my fidelity.

I'm rocking in my bed
I can't talk can't think can't sleep.
And nothing's jumping fences,
I only count what I cannot keep.
I lick my wounds,
I chase my instinct like a cat.
I don't know how I got so good
Or why my heart's a trap.

Why I love you, why I love you
Why I love you I don't know,
Why I love you, why I love you, why.
Taking sides with my enemy
Making love to my fidelity.

I'm landlocked, stuck in here,
I don't want to take my freedom.
I can't change what makes me high
And I can't change what I believe in.
I'm not pleasing no guru,
I'm not out to look for Jesus.
I'm not afraid to break the rules
It's just, one love keeps me breathing.

Why I love you, why I love you
Why I love you, I don't know
Why I love you, why I love you, why.
Taking sides with my enemy
Making love to my fidelity

Wow, dejavu and having a dejavu 'bout having a dejavu!

Show me the way to the next whiskey bar...

Last Monday, Chantal and I went to Riders On The Storm (The Doors) in de Effenaar in Eindhoven. It was fucking amazing!!! We were on the second row, we had whiskey, we had pot, we had poppers and we were fucking tripping! But that was also because of the music, because it was one of the best concerts I've ever seen and I felt like a fucking hippie! I'm still not sure if sometimes I liked the music better than the lights on the discoball. ;)
Afterwards we went home, but we didn't wanna go to sleep yet, cuz we still had some whiskey and a joint, so we started playing Triviant and getting stoned. It was one of the best nights I had in while, I laughed my fucking ass off. Pico Chico is the new word for cool. And did you know that Spice Girl Emma loves dough nuts and leather bras?
Anyway, I'm looking forward to the Sziget Festival, cuz there's gonna be a The Doors cover band. Too bad we can't bring pot and poppers. But there sure as hell will be whiskey!
(More pics of ROTS, click here.)

Had some okayish nights after that with Malou, and Mayo and the rest of the gang. Malou is in love and now she's very annoying. :P

Yesterday Annebel called me (she's a social worker @ Leonie's place), and she said that they found a place for us! I don't know if we can afford it yet, but if we can I think we'll take it! It's not very close to the center of The Hague, but it has four rooms! On Monday I'll hear if we can afford it. I'M SO EXCITED!

Rainy days

So I've been going out a lot the past week and now I'm freakin' tired and bored. This is such a small town, everyone knows everyone and everything. Annoying! And seeing the same people every day in the same cafe every day is starting to get old. I'm so glad I'm gonna move to the Hague! Malou, Emily and I were supposed to go to the Asgard (rock pub) tonight, but I barely slept because I had to take care of my sister last night, she was drunk as hell and I had to help her, cuz she was puking everywhere and it was horrible. And this morning around 7, the buildfuckers (hehe the construction workers) starting building next to my house and that sucked a lot.
Too bad I can't go tonight, Emily and Malou are so freakin' funny. Emily and I get along very well, she's such a cool chick! She studied in Scotland for a year and her mother is British, and Emily has that very funny humor thing going for her. I can stand the two of them for 5 weeks I guess. ;-) They're not boring at all!
I'm really looking forward to this weekend though. I'm gonna go to the Metropolis festival with Chantal, Jacky and some guy. It's gonna be fun though! And Monday tadaaaa RIDERS ON THE STORM! It's gonna be awesome to see actual members of The Doors on stage!
It kinda sucks that I was supposed to meet Leonie on MSN, but she just left when I went online. :( The media room had to close early and now I'm not gonna talk to her until Tuesday or Wednesday I guess.
I'm not gonna drink very much in the next week I think. I can't keep up with Malou! She's hardcore.

A bit of whining from me.

I'm just a big whiner right now. My girlfriend is in Ireland to take a summer course since a few days and she won't be back for another 5 weeks and it sucks. Hard, hard, very hard. I was very busy the last few days, partying with friends all over the country and it has been great fun, but now I'm exhausted and I needed a day for myself. So I decided to take a day off (from partying) and now everything just sucks harder and harder. I miss her and I need to talk to her, so we talked on the phone. And every time we do that I just feel worse. Hearing her voice, hearing she has a great time (without me), it sucks. I don't trust people very much, I feel like she left me, although I know she didn't. I feel like she's gonna cheat on me, although I know she would never do that...
But not calling her, not hearing her voice, might be even worse. I hate the fact that I need her so much to function and be happy. This just sucks.

I'm doomed.

She's coming to the M'era Luna Festival as well. And I'm on the freakin' Sziget Festival. :(
Don't get me wrong, I wanna go, but I also wanna see Emilie live!

Fucking sadness!

I'm freakin' sad, because Emilie Autumn is coming to the Netherlands and when she's here I'm on a freakin' festival in Hungary!!!!!!!

:( *cries* It really makes me sad! I wanna see her live so badly!

My current obsession: Emilie Autumn

So my new current obsession is called Emilie Autumn. She's not only incredibly hot, she dresses way cooler than anyone I know and she's a great singer & poet and she plays the violin very well! (Check out this hot picture on the right! -->)
I have this thing for people who are simply geniusses. Women who already played an instrument masterfully when they were only 4 years old. For example Tori Amos on the piano. She started playing at age 3 and at age 5 she could play any song on the piano after hearing it only once. She started at music school at age 5 and got kicked out at age 11 for playing too much rock and roll and because she started composing her own music. At age 13 she started playing in bars!
Emilie Autumn is brilliant like that, she was only 4 years old when she asked her parents if she could have a violin. When she was 15, she went to music school, but she got kicked out, because the teachers didn't agree with her ways.
She combines classical (and electric) violin music with fantasy and industrial/electro, creating a whole new genre: Violindustrial!
Check out her website and order some CDs! (Opheliac is my current favorite.) This woman is brilliant! I wanna see her live in concert so badly! And I wanna join her gang and possibly hang out at her place. ;-) Chicago, here I come!

Tori Amos

Oeee my first post! Ok, the first thing I wanna talk about is last sunday. I went to a Tori Amos concert for the second time, and it was great! AGAIN! There were only two things I didn't like about it: no. 1. I was standing at the first(!) row, but she had a new piano and the edge was a bit too high, so most of the time I couldn't see her face and had to stare at her (glittering) crotch. no. 2. Outside the Heineken Music Hall there were a lot of fans who seemed very calm and nice. When the doors opened they turned into evil monsters! I've been hit a couple of times, and got pushed around a lot. Luckely I can be a fast sprinter and someone opened another door which wasn't supposed to be open yet and we were at the first row for a while before the other people even got to enter the concert hall. Those people were really mean, I barely got to move my feet and everyone was pushing. I had every right to stand there, cuz we had been in front of the HMH since 2 PM!
The support act was great by the way! A guy with a violin and a guy with a stand up bass and a guy who played the drums.
Tori came in a bit too late, but that was totally okay, since she was supposed to stop playing at 10.45 PM but she stopped at 11.30 PM!
She first appeared as Pip! Which was great, cuz she's my favorite Posse member! Before she appeared on the stage a lot of fans were yelling PIP PIP PIP!
She was so hot in her rubber pants, drooling all over her mike. She's totally Tori's dark and, especially her, sexual side! The intro was Teenage Hustling, followed by my favorite Tori song: Bliss!

Fat Slut was really good as well, she was lying on the floor. Very cool!
After Body and Soul she went away and the band played Professional Widdow, and she returned as... Tori herself! She started to play Big Wheel and she looked so happy in her glittering pink catsuit! After a few songs she improvised this really cool song about drinking Heineken while playing piano and falling off her stool and about her piano who just stopped smoking and now she had to wear patches although it looked really sexy on her. God I loved that song! It really amazed me.
It was a really amazing playlist. I promised a friend of mine I would only cry during Tear In Your Hand (last time seeing Tori, I cried during the whole concert, I'm such a wuss!) and I cried a single tear during that song! (Although Winter also brought tears to my eyes, but they didn't really came out of my eyes.)
I also loved the lighting, with all the little stars! Wow it was amaaaazing! Too bad we didn't get to talk to her afterwards, but it was way too crowded anyway and we had to catch our train. A boy Leonie knows did get Tori to sign her tourbook!
I also loved the fact that Leonie was totally overwhelmed by Tori playing live! It was one of the best nights I had in a while... :)

I'm totally going again next time! I'll post pics as soon as I find them! I found these pictures on Here In My Head.com.
