So I've been going out a lot the past week and now I'm freakin' tired and bored. This is such a small town, everyone knows everyone and everything. Annoying! And seeing the same people every day in the same cafe every day is starting to get old. I'm so glad I'm gonna move to the Hague! Malou, Emily and I were supposed to go to the Asgard (rock pub) tonight, but I barely slept because I had to take care of my sister last night, she was drunk as hell and I had to help her, cuz she was puking everywhere and it was horrible. And this morning around 7, the buildfuckers (hehe the construction workers) starting building next to my house and that sucked a lot.
Too bad I can't go tonight, Emily and Malou are so freakin' funny. Emily and I get along very well, she's such a cool chick! She studied in Scotland for a year and her mother is British, and Emily has that very funny humor thing going for her. I can stand the two of them for 5 weeks I guess. ;-) They're not boring at all!
I'm really looking forward to this weekend though. I'm gonna go to the Metropolis festival with Chantal, Jacky and some guy. It's gonna be fun though! And Monday tadaaaa RIDERS ON THE STORM! It's gonna be awesome to see actual members of The Doors on stage!
It kinda sucks that I was supposed to meet Leonie on MSN, but she just left when I went online. :( The media room had to close early and now I'm not gonna talk to her until Tuesday or Wednesday I guess.
I'm not gonna drink very much in the next week I think. I can't keep up with Malou! She's hardcore.

A bit of whining from me.
I'm just a big whiner right now. My girlfriend is in Ireland to take a summer course since a few days and she won't be back for another 5 weeks and it sucks. Hard, hard, very hard. I was very busy the last few days, partying with friends all over the country and it has been great fun, but now I'm exhausted and I needed a day for myself. So I decided to take a day off (from partying) and now everything just sucks harder and harder. I miss her and I need to talk to her, so we talked on the phone. And every time we do that I just feel worse. Hearing her voice, hearing she has a great time (without me), it sucks. I don't trust people very much, I feel like she left me, although I know she didn't. I feel like she's gonna cheat on me, although I know she would never do that...
But not calling her, not hearing her voice, might be even worse. I hate the fact that I need her so much to function and be happy. This just sucks.

My current obsession: Emilie Autumn
So my new current obsession is called Emilie Autumn. She's not only incredibly hot, she dresses way cooler than anyone I know and she's a great singer & poet and she plays the violin very well! (Check out this hot picture on the right! -->)
I have this thing for people who are simply geniusses. Women who already played an instrument masterfully when they were only 4 years old. For example Tori Amos on the piano. She started playing at age 3 and at age 5 she could play any song on the piano after hearing it only once. She started at music school at age 5 and got kicked out at age 11 for playing too much rock and roll and because she started composing her own music. At age 13 she started playing in bars!
Emilie Autumn is brilliant like that, she was only 4 years old when she asked her parents if she could have a violin. When she was 15, she went to music school, but she got kicked out, because the teachers didn't agree with her ways.
She combines classical (and electric) violin music with fantasy and industrial/electro, creating a whole new genre: Violindustrial!
Check out her website and order some CDs! (Opheliac is my current favorite.) This woman is brilliant! I wanna see her live in concert so badly! And I wanna join her gang and possibly hang out at her place. ;-) Chicago, here I come!

Tori Amos
Oeee my first post! Ok, the first thing I wanna talk about is last sunday. I went to a Tori Amos concert for the second time, and it was great! AGAIN! There were only two things I didn't like about it: no. 1. I was standing at the first(!) row, but she had a new piano and the edge was a bit too high, so most of the time I couldn't see her face and had to stare at her (glittering) crotch. no. 2. Outside the Heineken Music Hall there were a lot of fans who seemed very calm and nice. When the doors opened they turned into evil monsters! I've been hit a couple of times, and got pushed around a lot. Luckely I can be a fast sprinter and someone opened another door which wasn't supposed to be open yet and we were at the first row for a while before the other people even got to enter the concert hall. Those people were really mean, I barely got to move my feet and everyone was pushing. I had every right to stand there, cuz we had been in front of the HMH since 2 PM!
The support act was great by the way! A guy with a violin and a guy with a stand up bass and a guy who played the drums.
Tori came in a bit too late, but that was totally okay, since she was supposed to stop playing at 10.45 PM but she stopped at 11.30 PM!
She first appeared as Pip! Which was great, cuz she's my favorite Posse member! Before she appeared on the stage a lot of fans were yelling PIP PIP PIP!
She was so hot in her rubber pants, drooling all over her mike. She's totally Tori's dark and, especially her, sexual side! The intro was Teenage Hustling, followed by my favorite Tori song: Bliss!
Fat Slut was really good as well, she was lying on the floor. Very cool! After Body and Soul she went away and the band played Professional Widdow, and she returned as... Tori herself! She started to play Big Wheel and she looked so happy in her glittering pink catsuit! After a few songs she improvised this really cool song about drinking Heineken while playing piano and falling off her stool and about her piano who just stopped smoking and now she had to wear patches although it looked really sexy on her. God I loved that song! It really amazed me.
It was a really amazing playlist. I promised a friend of mine I would only cry during Tear In Your Hand (last time seeing Tori, I cried during the whole concert, I'm such a wuss!) and I cried a single tear during that song! (Although Winter also brought tears to my eyes, but they didn't really came out of my eyes.)
I also loved the lighting, with all the little stars! Wow it was amaaaazing! Too bad we didn't get to talk to her afterwards, but it was way too crowded anyway and we had to catch our train. A boy Leonie knows did get Tori to sign her tourbook!
I also loved the fact that Leonie was totally overwhelmed by Tori playing live! It was one of the best nights I had in a while... :)
I'm totally going again next time! I'll post pics as soon as I find them! I found these pictures on Here In My Head.com.
